An Audacious attack was carried out by suspected Fulani kidnappers on two men around Ngene Okwuazu along the Nneyi Umueri/Anam bridge road on June 12, 2025, at approximately 6:20 pm.
Fortunately, the timely intervention of Army personnel stationed at the bridge head led to the rescue of the victims, who were rushed to New Life Hospital for treatment. According to reports, the victims are responding well to medical care.
The incident has once again highlighted the need for increased vigilance and security measures along the road and everywhere. The community is breathing a sigh of relief thanks to the bravery and quick response of the Nigeria gallant Army men.
