Nigeria’s former leader, Muhammadu Buhari, has died.
His spokesperson confirmed that Mr Buhari passed away on Sunday at a hospital in London.
“The family of the former president has announced the passing on of the former president, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin,” Garba Shehu stated on X.
According to WIZOPA, Mr Buhari had been unwell for several weeks and was undergoing medical care at the London facility.
