Rev.Dr Uma Ukpai, an international evangelist and founder of the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association, has reportedly passed away.
News of his alleged death is currently circulating on social media.
Prophet Joel Ogebe posted a cryptic message on X, writing: “A giant has gone to be with the Lord. My father, my father, the chariot of Israel. Heaven rejoices. Uyo.”
Although Ogebe did not mention any names, the post quickly drew attention online, with many linking it to Rev. Ukpai, who leads the Uma Ukpai Evangelistic Association — a renowned non-denominational ministry headquartered in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Soon after, a Christian platform, Church Gist, also posted on Facebook announcing the cleric’s reported passing. The post read:
“A GENERAL TAKES A BOW! EVANGELIST UMA UKPAI HAS GONE TO BE WITH THE LORD. REST IN POWER, SIR.”
As of the time of filing this report, there has been no official statement or confirmation from his family but a graphic statement has been posted few minutes ago on his official verified Facebook page confirming the great evangelist has passed.
