Abia South Senator,Enyinnaya Abaribe, has officially parted ways with the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, and joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC, marking a new phase in his political journey.
Abaribe made this known on Wednesday in Enugu, shortly after the former Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mr Peter Obi, formally became a member of the ADC.
Wizopa reports that the senator had joined APGA in 2023 after exiting his former political party in order to contest and secure the Abia South senatorial seat.
The lawmaker openly declared his complete loyalty and alignment with the ADC, while describing Peter Obi as his political leader and a guiding force in his political decisions.
“Let me also announce that I have resigned from the All-Progressive Grand Alliance
“So as of now, I am fully in ADC. Following my brother and our leader, Mr Peter Obi, I wish all of us well, and I know that we’re going to get there,” Abaribe said.
