An international and Lagos-based entertainment company, Dopason Entertainment Production/Unlimited Entertainment has continuously raised alarm over what it described as a repeated breach of agreement, intentional scamming and unprofessional conduct by an individual identified as Usunobun Edwards Okojie popularly know as Thespian Nozy of real house of comedy following a failed movie project collaboration that has now resulted in significant financial loss.
According to the production company, the Edo state born content creator Thespian Nozy of real house of comedy was initially contacted and engaged for a movie role, for which he received payment as agreed. However, on the scheduled day of the shoot, he failed to appear, later claiming he had gone for a different movie production and could no longer make it.
In his response to the situation, thespian nozy reportedly told the producers that they could either postpone the shoot or wait until he receives payment from his YouTube or Facebook monetization before issuing a refund. Left with no immediate option, Dopason Entertainment Production agreed to reschedule the shoot in hopes of resolving the issue amicably, choosing a date picked by thespian nozy.
However, the situation worsened when Usunobun Edwards Okojie Thespian nozy of real house of comedy allegedly repeated the same behavior on the new date. The production team claimed they waited for hours on set, incurring additional costs, only for him to fail to show up again without prior notice or reasonable explanation.
The repeated delays and absence reportedly caused the company financial damage estimated at over 1.6 million naira, covering logistics, equipment, location expenses, and crew and other casts payments.
Efforts to recover the funds or reach a mutual resolution have since been unsuccessful. The production company alleged that thespian nozy of real house of comedy resorted to verbal attacks, insults, and curses directed at the producers and even their family members before eventually blocking all lines of communication.
Despite being publicly called out over the incident, Usunobun Edwards Okojie a.k.a thespian nozy has allegedly refused to respond or make any attempt to refund the money.
Dopason Entertainment Production has now escalated the matter, announcing a special reward for anyone who can provide useful information that may lead to locating Thespian Nozy of real house of comedy. ( Contact 08061281579 )
The company also released a video capturing parts of the incident, including Thespian Nozy’s final response before cutting off communication, as part of efforts to seek justice and recover their losses.
